CouldUse.net presents a social platform that enables users across the world to connect their real-world neighborhoods by sharing needs and helping each other out on a non-profit basis.
The Idea is really simple: “Build a simple platform that allows you to ask your neighbors for help even you don’t know any of them”
What I mean with “help” here can be thought of anything from giving someone a cup of milk over babysitting their kids to lending someone your lawn mower.
It works like this:
The app presents a map-centered UI that displays a pin for each user in a certain neighborhood.
Users can post messages describing the objects or services they need, in addition a user may also offer something or some service in return.
If a user posts a new message, the system automatically notifies all neighbors about the new post.
Additionally, all posts in a neighborhood are displayed in a list and a single user’s posts are displayed in a bubble above it’s pin.
