Project name: Tableau

A multi-touch and multi-user interactive application to expose public information and the museum’s collections. Use natural and intuitive commands to browse images and text, watch video fragments, and ‘touch’ the content. The submitted application is a museum guide called ‘Tableau’ showing the current S.M.A.K. exhibitions (thanks to S.M.A.K. for their support).

Using gestures and natural movements to control the application makes it accessible by everyone, regardless of education, age and technical knowledge. We therefore strongly believe that this application (type of applications) can help Flanders to interact with its citizens and empower them to access the digital era.
