Crossing a street is usually an easy task, but if you can’t see anything, it can become hard to perform.
In Spain, only 20% of zebra crossings are adapted to blind people, so they can only cross alone, and safely, in two out of ten.
The purpose of this application is to help blind persons to cross a road, by indicating with sounds when the light is green or red. Using the camera phone, they will only have to turn the mobile toward any area where a traffic light is supposed to be, then a sound indicates that they can cross the street.
