At the Inca Award edition of 2009, Twoddler won the gold. The Twoddler developers transformed a Fisher Price activity center into a communication tool that is connected to the internet and communicates via Twitter. This application allows people/children that are not capable of verbal communication to communicate through an inventive combination of hardware and software.
The jury thought Twoddler was a good, well-implemented idea with a lot of potential. It is this potential they wanted to reward.
